Cain & Iddo: Break Week

Forum for submitting game booths for arcINDIE Expo 2025. Deadline for game booth submission is November 8th!
Forum rules
IMPORTANT
For those submitting a demo booth to either event this November you must also submit the promotional material form. Failing to do so may result in your booth being rejected after the submission deadline.

Submission guidelines
- Projects considered by staff to be asset flipped are not permitted. This does not apply to kit bashing.
- Projects must be submitted by the teams who developed them. Projects which have been submitted without developer involvement will be considered stolen and will removed.
- Plagiarised projects will be removed.
- Please avoid submitting rom hacks which do not significantly alter the base game and if so please submit them as a patch for the base game.
- The contents of your submission should be safe for work. projects depicting hate speech, or sexual content will be removed.
- Scratch and Roblox games are not permitted.
- Do not submit spite projects.

Cain the dog and Iddo the hyena are two plucky 24-year-olds navigating life alone in the east coast American metropolis of Westside City. Their zany misadventures don't turn out exactly as planned, wacky unforeseen circumstances arise, and hijinx ensue...

Cain works as a barista at the local mall's Starbuzz franchisee. Due to requirements from higher Starbuzz management, his boss Sergio has to give Cain a week off work for the summer. Cain and Iddo have decided to create a list of activities to do over this week-long break... but you can probably guess that finishing that list is not going to be as simple as it seems.
  • Play as Cain and Iddo!
  • Traverse through 12 foe-filled levels, each with its own unique level mechanics!
  • Face 16 bosses that will test your knowledge of the game!
  • Find hidden gift cards to unlock cool bonus content such as minigames and artwork!
This demo contains the levels Market Down for Later and The Kettle of Wishes. The full game will have Market Down for Later (the intro level), 7 main levels that can be beaten in any order, and a final gauntlet of 4 levels accessible after beating the main 7 levels.
